Sabina Diamond Antique Slide Lorgnette Chain
It's no secret we love antique lorgnette chains - or slide-guards! They were worn by women in the late 1800s to early 1900s and feature a sliding mechanism with a swivel dog clip clasp- usually to attach a pocketwatch, fob or locket. We shortened this one, giving it a modern twist and making it easy to wear. Slide and chain are in great condition, and the slide has a diamond chip with star setting engraving. Swivel clasp marked DCO.
